What else do you need to bring:

  • Yourself !
  • Sewing machine
  • Sewing kit
  • Board, cutter, ruler
  • Extension lead
  • Fleece or warm jumper ( this is very important as sometimes we open the door to let a bit of air circulate)
  • Sewing projects ( bring a few so you can change around)
  • Glasses
  • Medication
  • One or two items of show and tell ( if you have some of course)
  • If you are bringing a light, it must be LED
  • Headphones for listening to music - this is necessary as it has been brought to our attention that some people have sensory auditory issues.
  • Your scrap challenge quilt from last year if you have it finished.
  • Comfy clothes
  • A waterproof coat as its lovely to get out for a walk.

Sorry NO IRONS- we have irons supplied around the room.

The sewing room will be open from around 8 am until 11- 11.30 pm. There will be a teacher available from after breakfast, so between 9.30 and 10 am -  until we go for dinner at 5.30 pm. Any sewing you wish to do after that will be unassisted, but don't worry- you can find out what to do during the day and sew till bedtime if you so wish

Challenge- bring an unfinished project if you dare. If you have a project that you no longer like bring it along for a swap!

See you soon,

Nikki and Sarah
